Take notes and view the video. When you are done, go to Quia, http://www.quia.com/web, sign in and take the quiz. It will be up through Tuesday!!! DOn't forget!!!! It will be longer this time. Remember, you have two chances to make 100. This is a learning experience, so go learn.

We'll be viewing the lesson on evolution too, so peruse that.

This is a link to the Miller book and the discussion on water. Read this. I will also make sure my PP's are on my website in case we don't get to actually discuss this in class.

Exerpt from the Miller Book Ch 2.

Go to this website and read the first section in chapter 2. http://books.google.com/books?id=5gC9Dy1YWfkC&pg=PA28&lpg=PA28&dq=One+way+in+which+scientists+learn+about+how+nature+works&source=bl&ots=FE9M1jdEmj&sig=ZENyRWWf4M9OIGpzbTGIGrV5t-Q&hl=en&ei=ui4_Td-WDITdgQe-g8T9CA&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=2&ved=0CBoQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q=One%20way%20in%20which%20scientists%20learn%20about%20how%20nature%20works&f=false

If you have trouble with copying and pasting this link, google the following phrase. One way in which scientists learn about how nature works.

Read all of section 2.1. I'm mainly concerned that you know what science is and how to carry out a controlled experiment.
